 7th June 2008On Sunday, 1 June 2008, at about 17:45, Mrs. Beulah Lumkwana (pictured far left), the Chairperson of The Forum, tried to check into the Chelsea Villa Guest House, in Glenwood Durban. She was on official Forum business in Durban and was being accompanied to check in by the National Coordinator, Rajesh Latchman. In summary, Mrs Lumkwana was told that there was no booking for her and after failing to secure accommodation at the guesthouse, both Mrs Lumkwana and Mr Latchman left. On Monday, enquiries to the travel agency, Munlin Travel, revealed that the booking was in fact made, paid for and confirmed. This led us to suspect that Mrs Lumkwana was refused entry on the basis of prejudice. Bookmark this article:          |
