Active ImageINVITATION TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL TRAINING ON NORMS AND STANDARDS AS WELL AS REDESIGNED BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES:

The Directorate: Service Standards cordially invites the representatives of the National Welfare Forum to attend training on the norms and standards as well as redesigned business processes for social welfare services scheduled for 02 – 04 March 2011 at Pretoria (venue to be confirmed).

The Directorate: Service Standards successfully held a working session on 02-06 August 2010 where integrated draft norms and standards were developed. These were consulted in all provinces during September and October 2010 and were finalized at a National workshop held on 29-30 November 2010. All these have been done with the aim of improving the quality of social welfare services.

It is necessary for all stakeholders to be trained on the redesigned business processes, integrated norms and standards and the quality assurance framework. In addition plans for the implementation of business processes and norms and standards will be developed.

Members of the forum are therefore invited to nominate delegates to represent their organizations in the planned training. Organizations can forward their delegates to the officials stated below not later than Friday, 18 February 2011.
