Two in Governance and one in Food Rights Application deadline 08.11.2010; Interviews 8 – 9.12.2010; Start date 01.02.2011 Introduction and background: Action Aid Denmark (AADK) works with local partners in a number of countries globally as a full member of Action Aid International (AAI). MS-TCDC, located in Arusha Tanzania, is the key training programme under AADK. The centre employs more than 80 full time staff. The centre provides high quality training, strategic capacity building interventions and consultancy services to civil society organisations and their partners. We also offer Swahili courses and conference facilities. We provide training management support to our global partners from civil society (national and international NGOs), government, development partners, and private sector. Our main geographical focus is Sub-Saharan Africa but increasingly also other global locations. As part of our continuous adjustment to regional market needs and increasing engagement with AAI’s global thematic programs: Right to Just & Democratic Governance (2 vacancies) and Right to Food (1 vacancy), we are now looking for three new Regional Training & Development Advisors (RTDAs) in the following areas:
The position will be based at the MS-TCDC training centre in Arusha. The position is offered under Action Aid International’s International/National terms and conditions typical for regional profiles with a fixed term contract for 3 years with the possibility of extension depending on the future programmatic focus and market needs for TCDC training services.
