Maureen is a member of The Forum’s management committee. She works as Head of Training at the PEPPS Early Child Development Training in Polokwane. She has worked as a pre – school educator and as a trainer and facilitator before her current engagement.

She has a diploma in Primary education from the University of Limpopo, a High Education Diploma from the University of the Western Cape, and an honours degree in Education from the University of Stellenbosch. She is currently doing her MBA with Management College of South Africa.

Maureen is a member of SA Congress for Early Child Development, a member of Alert (Resource Training and Organisations) consortium in Limpopo, and Chairperson of Childline Limpopo. Maureen also sits on the steering committee of the Progressive Women Movement of South Africa.

Maureen is 47 years old and has been married to her husband for 25 years and together have 3 children aged 11 years to 24 years.
