The Community Law Centre (CLC) invites you to a seminar on access to housing for people with special needs. CLC recently conducted a comprehensive research on the nature and extent of the South African government’s duty to promote the right of access to adequate housing of women experiencing domestic violence (one of the special needs groups), which would be presented during the seminar. The City of Cape Town and the Department of Local Government and Housing (Western Cape) have also confirmed their participation and will be talking about their respective policies on special needs housing.

The Seminar will take place on 26 November 2009 at Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children, Klipfontein Road, Athlone (opposite Western Cape Nurses' Training College)
