Themba Interactive (Theatre and Training), situated in Braamfontein, creates and performs interactive plays dealing with relationships, gender norms and challenges, HIV/Aids, safer sex, and relationships. The excellent productions tour schools, prisons, companies and community-based organisation, and are an effective way of influencing behaviour change, people's willingness to go for VCT and adhere to treatment, and they increase participants' knowledge about HIV and related issues. All of the actors and facilitators help to develop the plays to keep them relevant. Although we are fully booked for performances on World AIDS Day 2008, there are still opportunities for you to book a Themba performance for your staff and/or clients and/or the youth with whom you work during November and December. The cost is very reasonable (discounts are available to NPOs), and upto 100 people can attend a performance at the venue of your choice. No stage, special lighting or equipment is required.
