The Centre for Development Enterprise (CDE) in partnership with the Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS) is hosting a public lecture on what South Africa can learn from the international experience of managing migration on 25 August 2008 in Johannesburg.
This is a crucial time in the development of South Africa’s migration policy. The country is battling to cope with unprecedented flows of people fleeing the meltdown in Zimbabwe. The recent violence has powerfully focussed the minds of government, parliament, political parties, organised business and South Africans in general on migration issues.
